About Me
I’m 36 years old and live in Canada’s capital, Ottawa. I have a wonderful wife, a beautiful son and two so-so cats.
My background is in advertising and design. I’ve been in the web game since 1995, when some friends and I were working at various advertising and marketing companies and realized that none of them had the faintest clue about the potential of the web. So we started a little web design shop. By the end of the decade we had a web application development consultancy with 30 employees, swanky office space and dreams of global expansion. Then the bubble burst. Luckily, we were able to sell our company to our biggest customer and most of the employees walked away with jobs.
I got to work for the big nameless telecom giant for a little while.
Meanwhile, some friends had started a new company and were doing it right this time: Teknision. Once the golden handcuffs were off, I jumped ship and never looked back.
